In Case You Missed It!!

The BHCF had its first General Membership meeting of the year last Thursday, 1/2/2020. Here is a snapshot of some highlights:

  • BHCF president, Joe Glassbrenner and VP Bendan Delaney attending a meeting with the DOMI (the Department of Mobility and Infrastructure) to learn about traffic calming strategies within the City of Pittsburgh. Residents who have concerns about streets that experience repeated patterns of speeding, accidents, and dangerous driving should consider visiting THIS LINK for further info on how to make a change! Without community input, the city won’t know what streets should be a priority! Now is the time to be heard, as budgeting is underway!
  • Memorial Day Planning Committee meets 1/27/2020 at 7p, at 3629 California Ave. If you have a passion for fallen Veterans from the 27th Ward, this committee needs you! Just show up with an open mind and your ideas!
  • Bobby Wilson, District 1’s newly elected Councilperson is at your service! Click HERE for his contact info.
  • Garden and Greenspace Committee is gearing up for it’s second annual BHCF Flower Sale fundraiser! Stay tuned for more details!
