The Brighton Heights Citizens Federation needs your support!
After a multi-year hiatus, we are bringing Bright the Night back to the Brighton Heights community on Saturday, December 2, 2023, from 4–7 p.m. at Legion Park.
This event isn’t possible without the support of local companies and organizations. We are seeking donations, volunteers, performers, and vendors to make the return of this beloved neighborhood event a success. Some sponsorship opportunities are listed below.
Please contact us with any questions.

BRIGHT THE NIGHT SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES
We plan to have activity booths that can be sponsored! You’ll be responsible for providing the necessary supplies and the oversight for the activity. You’re welcome to bring promotional materials (tablecloth, signage, takeaways) to set up in your space.
Hot chocolate and coffee bar — Provide free warm beverages to attendees. You would need to provide beverages, insulated beverage dispensers, cups/lids, cream/sugar/stirrers. You would also need to staff the table.
DIY gingerbread house activity — Provide a non-food gingerbread house activity. For example, Oriental Trading has several options including self-adhesive foam 3D houses. These cost approximately $75 for 48 houses. These can be offered as takeaways or done on-site with supervision. We can provide you with enough space for two 6’ tables for setup if needed.
Letter to Santa kit — Provide pre-bagged kits to kids that includes paper, holiday stickers, crayons, and an envelope.
Design an ornament activity — Provide supplies and instructions for attendees to create ornaments of some kind to take with them. Oriental Trading has various affordable options of all types. We can provide you with enough space for two 6’ tables for setup if needed.
Holiday movie in the park — We are planning to set up a large screen to play holiday movies at one end of the park. Provide small bags of popcorn, popcorn balls, and/or other movie snacks to attendees. Offer blankets or chairs for seating. Make sure that movies are running smoothly.
Gift wrapping station (pending vendor count) — Wrap the gifts that attendees purchase from the market. You will need to provide all gift wrapping supplies and staff the table.
We welcome any other activities or ideas to keep the community engaged and make for a fun event! Do you want to set up a game of some sort? Offer prizes? Let us know!
We are starting from scratch this year and are looking to raise funds for the event. Any additional unused donations will be put toward next year’s event. No donation is too small! Your donations will support the following.
Lights, extension cords, power strips — For the big tree in Legion Park and to wrap lights around as many of the smaller trees as we possibly can
Santa — Costs associated with hiring a Santa for the event (including background check, clearances) and setting up a meet and greet area with a chair and decorations
Spotlights — To be placed around the park as the street lights don’t provide enough light
Permitting — For Legion Park and to close Shadeland between Orchlee and Davis for the event.
Signage — To get the word out to the neighborhood and to advertise our event sponsors
Band — To lead the event’s lantern parade from Emmanuel Christian Church to Legion Park
Food trucks — To cover food minimums, just in case
Balloon artist — Fun for all
Ornaments — To purchase Brighton Heights ornaments to sell to raise funds for next year’s event
All sponsors will have their logos displayed on the Brighton Heights Citizens Federation website and on the signage for the event. Sponsors are also welcome to set up a booth at the event, free of charge, to engage with the community. (You would be responsible for your own table/tent/chair/etc). We will provide you with a receipt of your donation for tax purposes.
BRIGHT THE NIGHT VENDOR OPPORTUNITIES
We are offering no charge for vendors for this year’s event! If you’re interested in being a vendor, please reach out to Gabrielle Sikora (gabisikora@gmail.com). We would love to showcase the talent of neighbors and friends, giving people the opportunity to purchase unique and local holiday gifts. Food, art, crafts — all are welcome!
BRIGHT THE NIGHT ENTERTAINMENT OPPORTUNITIES
If you are able to donate any of your talents to our event, we would love to have them! We would love to have musicians, singers, bands, dancers, performers, etc join us.
