The Brighton Heights Citizens Federation will hold its 17th Fun Run this October 4th in Riverview Park.  The Fun Run has been held annually since 1991, with a one year lapse in 2004.  The cost is $12 if registration is received before September 20, 2008.  After that time the cost is $16.

Participants can either run or walk the 5 kilometer course through the park, a magnificent venue in the fall.  The race begins at 10 AM on Saturday, October 4th. Race packets, including a mango and fuscia T-shirt and other race related give-aways will be available for “Early Bird” pick up on Thursday, October 2nd at the bus stop on the corner of Brighton Road and Davis Avenue from 6:30 to 8 PM. Same day registration and pick up will be at the same bus stop the day of the race from 8 AM to 9:45 AM.  

Prizes are awarded in categories according to gender and age and special prizes are awarded to Brighton Heights residents finishing in the various age groups. Reservations can be made by filling out the application on line, in the newsletter, or on distributed flyers. One application should be completed for each participant.  PayPal is also available.
