You’ve watched the corner of
Brighton and Benton transform from a vacant building to an exciting new
Laundromat and Café. The shops on Benton Ave, Pittsburgh Fish & Chicken
and Andy & Ann’s Flower Shop have been renovated, now sport stylish
black awnings, and soon will have new signage.So get ready for the grand opening of the new business on
the Brighton Road side.
The expanded Laundromat will feature new machines
and some
with larger capacity and a first class Deli and Café with an outside
eating
area on the patio on Benton. EX Properties, the owner, is now accepting
applications for jobs at the Laundromat and café. They are also sponsoring a contest for
naming sandwiches at the Deli! You
have a chance now to come up with ingredients and a name, such as “The
Benton”
or “The Brighton”, etc, for a suggested sandwich you would like to see
there.

Along with the café,
the owners
are planning to have an ATM machine, newspaper racks, soft serve ice
cream,
and wi-fi. If you have any
