Flower planting for the corners of California and Termon Avenues and Brighton Heights Boulevard will take place on Saturday, May 15, 2010 beginning at 8:30 AM.
The more volunteers, the better! We need lots of help with the flower beds. Volunteers weed the areas to be planted and the areas with the perennials. Hundreds of holes must be dug for careful hands to plant petunias and marigolds. Helpers will shovel and spread mulch over large areas, and all the plants must be watered and weeded regularly.
