Please sign in as a volunteer at the BHCF office before starting and see important notes below about protective dressing and tools.

Volunteers Needed to:

Weed Garden Lots

  • Gardens at California and Termon Ave intersection
  • The Great Wall along Brighton Heights Boulevard
  • Gardens in Legion Park

Prune Rose Bushes

  • about 20 bushes in Green Up Lot on California and Termon Avenue

Mulch Garden Beds

  • in Legion Park
    Garden Stewards: Victor Mullen and Suzie Smolin

Cut Back Ornamental Grasses

Help Move Hardscaping Rocks

  • Garden Steward Ed Gergerich

Important Notes:

  1. Please bring your own tools for pruning and cutting back grasses, and gloves, if you have them. BHCF has some to borrow otherwise.
  2. Please wear sunscreen and protective gardening. clothing
